Myofascial Therapy
Fascia is a thin lining around the muscles
that becomes tight and restricted causing pain and limiting
movement. This source of tension can affect our
ability to withstand stress when trauma occurs (i.e.
whiplash, surgery, falling, habitual poor posture, etc)
Myofascial therapy is a successful technique that provides
sustained pressure into the affected areas to eliminate pain
and restore range of motion, and is offer combined with
Neuromuscular Therapy. |
NeuroMuscular Therapy (NMT)
NMT is a very specialized form of manual
therapy of chronically tense, contracted, and painful areas.
Helping to release trigger points (irritation points in
muscles which refer pain to other parts of the body) and
correct muscle imbalances (i.e. poor lifting habits and
postural distortions caused from computer keyboarding,
golf/tennis swing, etc.) |
Sports Massage
A regular sport massage can help prevent
injury by maintaining the muscles in better condition.
It's absolutely necessary for helping to optimize
performance, preventing injury, reducing competition anxiety
and achieving career longevity. |
Reiki Energy Therapy
A Japanese approach to stress reduction and
relaxation that is used to balance the numan energy field to
promote self healing. Reiki Therapy can be done fully
clothed. |
Relaxation Massage
A relaxation message is exactly what the name
implies: a massage strictly for the purpose of rest and
relaxation. This massage technique is not designed for
therapeutic effects or for dealing with chronic pain or
discomfort. |
